旭宇先生給我的印象始終是儒雅與博大。

他作為當代文人書法大家，書、學兼修，詩、書自養。

在近八十歲的高齡再鼓風帆，二○一七年至二○一八年，《書法報》連載了旭宇先生的《寄給歷史之書札》三十篇，在東湖琴社舉辦了『旭宇先生讀書手札品鑒會』，這些作品的內容或為旭宇先生自作詩文，或為其散文小品，或為先生評鑒歷代名家詩作、經典碑帖之所思、所悟、所感，形制或尺牘、或手卷，筆墨皆隨心而為，一氣呵成，每一件作品均跳躍著先生思想和智慧的光芒，可謂內容與形式的高度統一，心手雙暢、圓融無礙、優游自得，堪稱旭宇先生的代表作品。

《白陽評議唐詩手卷》是先生步入耄耋之年的代表作，通篇觀之，一派晉唐氣象，瀟灑古淡，逸氣盈楮。章法上，先生汲取了元代大畫家黃公望《富春山居圖》之元素，書中有畫，虛實相生，錯落有致，如山川之美景，自相映發，使人應接不暇。先生對唐代數位著名詩人的作品評議和品鑒是發乎本心的，筆墨是內心之昇華，率真、自在、超脫！這是功與性、情與意的高度融合。先生早年從唐楷起步，進入中年又在魏碑上下功夫，花甲之年對唐宋人行草廣泛涉獵，步入古稀之年，先生廣收博采，加強了對晉人的取法，隨著對『二王』書法研究的不斷深入，使其書風為之一變。細品此卷，碑之端厚、帖之暢達，在其筆下左右逢源，營造出了一種瀟散與奇逸的境界。作品通篇骨氣充盈，風神獨具，漾溢著一種感人的力量。

先生老驥伏櫪，志在千里。先生有著強烈的代表作意識，從中可窺一個老藝術家再攀藝術高峰的勇氣和決心。其代表作意識的覺醒其實也是當代書壇由高原到高峰之覺醒，為我們這個時代實現對傳統經典的傳承和對接提供了有益的啟示，旭宇先生書法作品的意義已經超過了其創作本身。

白陽，乃旭宇先生晚年之號。當代著名詩人、一級作家、書法家。中國書法家協會第四、五屆副主席。現為中國書法家協會顧問、河北省文聯名譽主席、河北省政府參事室參事、河北省政協文史館名譽館長、國務院文史館書畫院院務委員等。

旭宇先生是當代文人書法家，是典型跨作家、書法家兩棲藝術大家。他首先是個文人，著有詩集、文論集十幾部，對傳統文化頗有研究。其所著《寄給歷史之書 札》《老子與書畫》等專著，于報刊陸續發表后在社會 上引起廣泛關注并獲得好評。而他在八十高齡后所創作的《白陽評議唐詩卷》，則被認為是真正的文人書法在當代的回歸。

旭宇先生自幼喜歡唐詩與書法，他以精妙的筆墨寫下了對唐代諸多詩人作品的感悟與評論，文思敏捷、筆 墨鮮活，創作了屬于他個人、同時也屬于當代的、別具風貌又文墨一體的作品。

Bai Yang is the name of Mr. Xu Yu in his later years. He is a famous contemporary poet, first-class writer and calligrapher. Fourth and fifth vice chairman of Chinese Calligrapher Association. He is now a consultant of China Calligrapher Association, honorary chairman of Hebei Federation of literary and art circles, counselor of Hebei provincial government Counselor Office, honorary curator of Hebei CPPCC cultural and Historical Museum, and academician of the painting and Calligraphy Institute of the cultural and Historical Museum of the State Council.

Mr. Xu Yu is a contemporary literati calligrapher, a typical cross writer and calligrapher. First of all, he is a literati. He has written more than ten collections of poems and essays. He has a lot of research on traditional culture. His monographs, such as letters sent to history, Laozi and calligraphy and painting, attracted wide attention in the society and won high praise after they were published in the press. And his poem volume of Baiyang commenting on Tang Dynasty, which was created after he was 80 years old, is regarded as the return of real literati calligraphy in the contemporary era.

Mr. Xu Yu liked Tang poetry and calligraphy since he was a child. He wrote down his feelings and comments on many Tang poets' works with exquisite brush and ink. He was quick in thinking and vivid in writing. He created works that belonged to his own, but also belong to the contemporary, unique style and integration of culture and ink.
