從2007年開始，我在工業區行走，發現有一些工廠關掉，原來人來車往、人聲鼎沸的工廠，變成了空蕩蕩的廠房，沒有了機器的轟鳴聲，沒有打工者，野草從地面上，從墻壁上長出來。

我喜歡瞎逛，從2008年開始，到那些空廠房中去拍照，記錄下人去樓空的場景，也拍攝了打工者生存的痕跡。還撿了一些散落在各處的打工者使用過的物品，帶回來。

見過很多類似的場景后，我有了一個清晰的想法，用打工者曾經使用過的物品，從這個側面記錄打工生活。于是又走進空置的廠房，將打工者丟棄的物品，撿回家，在影棚拍出來。

曾經的鞋廠、制衣廠、印染廠、熱流道廠，都人去樓空，打工者丟棄的物品和廠房，象蟬蛻掉的外殼，留下了曾經的存在。而蟬已慢慢變老，最終死去，打工者又何嘗不是這樣。

Since 2007, when I was walking in the industrial zone, I found that some factories were closed. The factories where people came and drove to and fro became empty factories without the roar of machines, workers and weeds growing from the ground and walls.

I like to wander around. Since 2008, I have taken photos in the empty factory houses, recorded the scenes of people going to the building, and also photographed the traces of workers' survival. I also picked up some articles used by migrant workers scattered around and brought them back.

After seeing a lot of similar scenes, I have a clear idea to record the life of migrant workers from this side with the objects that migrant workers have used. Then he went into the empty factory, picked up the discarded items of the workers, and photographed them in the studio.

The former shoe factories, clothing factories, printing and dyeing factories, and hot runner factories are all empty. The articles and factories discarded by the workers are like the shells shed by cicadas, leaving the former existence. And cicadas have slowly become old, and finally die, and the workers are not like this.
